Users want to click to the site that is the best match for what they are searching for. For each search query, Google presents a Search Engine Results Page (SERP). The SERP displays which sites Google feels are the most relevant to the search query. Each result includes a page’s SEO Title, Page URL, and Meta Description. Optimize each of these elements to encourage users to click through to your website.
The search result above, includes the keyword phrase “counseling services”. The content at the beginning of the SEO Title carries more weight in the eyes of Google. Location-based copy is also included along with the name of the clinician. In the Meta Description, the copy outlines what a user can expect from the website.

Keep in mind, the SEO Title, Page URL, and Meta Description copy do not appear on the website. The content only appears in the website code and in Google’s SERP.
